About Rock Hill, SC

Look around modern day Rock Hill.

What do you see?

The City of Rock Hill combines a rich history with recent modernization. Main Street is bustling with specialty shops, small businesses, restaurants and offices in renovated historical buildings. A new center city amphitheater, with fountains and sculptures, hosts concerts, festivals and other events. Canoe or kayak on the Catawba River.  Access areas are many. The new Riverwalk Park has the Pump House restaurant on the river , shops, restaurants and miles of walking trails along the river banks. Also visit the BMX  Supercross Criterium course, which is home to the Carolina National BMX competition.

Don't forget to take time to stop and smell the roses. And other flowers are blooming at the beautiful Glencairn Gardens downtown. Started as the backyard garden of David & Hazel Bigger in 1928, Glencairn is now an 11 acre paradise located in the heart of Rock Hill.

Rock Hill is located just 25 miles south of Charlotte NC in south eastern York County.  It is close to the south end of Lake Wylie and on the Catawba River.   It is the 4th largest city in the Charlotte, NC metropolitan area and the 5th largest city in the state of South Carolina.  Come visit us anytime. We will welcome you with big smiles, great food and our best southern hospitality.
